This piece has a very powerful impact, it creates a sense of despair that really can be deeply felt.

The color choice is excellent and the facial expression and body language is amazing.

What I would love to remark on is the fact that you added the blood on the face, while a small detail, it does create a big impact which is carried along by the title. Not to mention it stands out against the rest of painting being so different compared to the rest color-wise.

It makes me question the context of the painting. Did she harm someone? Was she the one harmed?

That ambiguity is what gives the piece a lasting impression as it leaves you wondering, not only about the painting itself, but how you should feel about it despite the strong sense of despair (or is it regret?)..
